In life, there are seasons, and a cancer patient often walks through the hardest ones.
During this crucial, meaningful time in their life, palliative and oncology care at AdventHealth Winter Park formally Florida Hospital Winter Park exists to provide our patients with the dignified, compassionate care they deserve.
Often times, many family members are present in one room together in support of their loved one. Unfortunately though, at this time we do not have the appropriate space to provide the level of privacy and comfort we ultimately desire for our patients and their families.
But you can change that.
Our hope is to transform a semi-private patient room into a completely
private suite, designated specifically for oncology and palliative care
patients and their loved ones
This suite would be large enough to accommodate multiple family members, contain beds and sofas for family to stay, along with beautiful artwork, to create a private, comforting, tranquil environment.
A Meaningful Way to Honor Dr. Zehngebot
As you know, Dr. Lee Zehngebot has spent his career providing exceptional, dedicated care to his patients. In light of his recent retirement, our desire is to designate one of these private suites in his name, and in doing so, honor his legacy of world-class, compassionate care.
Provide Dignity, Peace and Comfort
This new suite will cost approximately $25,000 in renovations and updates in order to provide the high-quality, expansive space our patients deserve.
We need your help to make this happen. Consider making a gift today to help us provide palliative and oncology patients and their families with the dignity, peace and comfort they deserve.
"Dr. Lee Zehngebot is a healthcare practitioner that goes so far beyond technical expertise. He is
a family care captain for his cancer patients who shepherds patients and loved
ones through a difficult process. Because of his talent, there are many
successful endings to his patients’ stories." --Betsy
